Nick Faldo Plays First Course in Cambodia


Golf legend Nick Faldo, who will Captain the 2008 European Ryder Cup, recently visited the Angkor Golf Resort in Siem Reap, Cambodia to inspect and play the course that was designed by IMG on behalf of Nick Faldo Design.

 

Energized by a two day visit to Siem Reap and after playing the full 18 holes of his new design near to the famous temples of Angkor Wat, Nick Faldo predicts great things for the Angkor Golf Resort.

GULF HARBOUR CHOOSES IMG FOR RENOVATION DESIGN


Whangaparaoa, New Zealand

Gulf Harbour Country Club in New Zealand has selected IMG as the golf course designer to lead its renovation and upgrade program as it strives to achieve its goal of becoming the “Home of New Zealand Golf” in the coming years.   Gulf Harbour has previously hosted the New Zealand Open in 2005 and 2006, the World Cup of Golf in 1998, and the on-going renovation program will see the course provide a terrific test for future championships.
