Golf legend Nick Faldo, who will Captain the 2008 European Ryder Cup, recently visited the Angkor Golf Resort in Siem Reap, Cambodia to inspect and play the course that was designed by IMG on behalf of Nick Faldo Design.

 

Energized by a two day visit to Siem Reap and after playing the full 18 holes of his new design near to the famous temples of Angkor Wat, Nick Faldo predicts great things for the Angkor Golf Resort.

DA NANG, Viet Nam (25 September 2007) — Course construction is well underway here amid the tropical dunescape of Vietnam’s fastest growing resort destination, where a Colin Montgomerie design will soon stand as the area’s first 18-hole layout.

 

Located just off famed China Beach and minutes from Da Nang’s international airport, The Montgomerie Links Vietnam has been routed to capitalize on its close proximity to both the warm, tranquil South China Sea and striking Marble Mountains, which are clearly visible from various points on the course.

Whangaparaoa, New Zealand

Gulf Harbour Country Club in New Zealand has selected IMG as the golf course designer to lead its renovation and upgrade program as it strives to achieve its goal of becoming the “Home of New Zealand Golf” in the coming years.   Gulf Harbour has previously hosted the New Zealand Open in 2005 and 2006, the World Cup of Golf in 1998, and the on-going renovation program will see the course provide a terrific test for future championships.

The Tiger Woods Dubai, a member of Tatweer, today announced IMG Golf Course Management will operate and manage the Al Ruwaya golf course, the first golf course designed by the world's number one golfer, Tiger Woods.
